Basic Fire Awareness/Fire Marshal

This course will provide the employer and employees with appropriate training under the Regulatory Reform (fire safety) Order 2005 (England and Wales).

Training Objectives:

Fire Awareness

• Understand current legislation and legal responsibilities

• Update and improve your knowledge of fire safety

• Recognise and implement suitable fire precautions

• Develop a greater understanding of causes of fire within the Dental Practice

• Actions on discovering a fire

• Classes of fire and types of extinguishers

• Practical training in the safe use of portable fire fighting equipment

 

Fire Marshal

• Understand your roles and responsibilities as a Fire Marshal

• Can identify the emergency evacuation procedures

• Carry out weekly and monthly fire checks (delegate)

• Actions on discovering of persons still in the check area
